Mousetrap Car
Introduction
While Corona Virus is still on, Hanta Virus is back. There was a recent case in China about a man died because of Hanta Virus. Hanta Virus is mainly caused by mouse/mice and from their remains. So in this blog I'm going to show you, how to make a mechanism to catch mouse/mice. It is called a mousetrap car.Materials
-Plastic bottle
-4 bottle caps
-2 strong magnets
-Straws
-Pen cover (outside plastic of the pen)
-Cardboard
-Glue gun
-Scissors
-Paper
Procedure
Step one:
First, take your plastic bottle and your pen cover and glue it
Step two:
Take a cardboard piece and add 4 bottle caps to it
Step three:
Add the bottle to it
Step four:
Cut out 2 cardboard pieces and add them to the large piece. Make sure that when the bottle is not leaning down the cardboard doesn't cover the bottle's nose and when the bottle is leaning make sure that it fully covers the nose.
Step five:
Roll a small piece of paper and glue it underneath the cardboard piece. To that, add a straw.
Cut out 4 cardboard circles. Glue them to each side of the straw to make the wheels of the car.
Step seven:
Make a cardboard handle and add a magnet to it.
Step eight:
Cut out a small square out of cardboard and add the opposite side if the magnet (that doesn't stick to the other magnet).
Your Mousetrap Car Is Ready
How to use it
In a paper towel, add some cheese and wrap it up. Make about 5 of them. Put that piece of paper towel in the bottle. When the mouse comes and gets in the bottle to eat the cheese, it will get stuck. When it tries to come out, the weight of the mouse will push the bottle down and the cardboard will block it from coming out. When you see the mouse in there, close the bottle with it's cap, pick up the bottle and release the mouse in the park far from houses. This way, you are not killing these creatures and you can put the bottle back in and reuse it. You can use the handle to slide the car close the the mouse quietly.
Thanks for reading and I hope you use this car to get rid of all mouse/mice in your house.
